Goodie Jars

These are old-fashioned sewing jars (made out of canning jars), but I made some thinking they could be a really cute teacher gift filled with goodies or a gift card.  OR if you have a crafty friend, fill it with buttons or craft-supplies.  It is a pin cushion on top but they look adorable without pins too!  Can be made in a variety of sizes.  These goodie jars are $7.

Holiday Kitchen Towels

So I found a new vendor for wonderful flour sack and kitchen towels - the quality is excellent.  Decided to add a band of holiday fabric - as I'm getting into the holiday spirit!  These are a great hostess gift (tied in a bow with an ornament or your favorite kitchen soap) or for your own kitchen!  Holiday towels are $10 each.

New Favorite Bag - Spice Market Tote

I love new projects and this bag is so fun.  It's a Market Tote made of designer fabrics - with several layers of interfacing/stabilizer so it's so sturdy.  Includes 2 interior pockets, a bottom panel and a snap closure is an option.  It can be filled with goodies for a gift or taken with you to the market!  One of my favorites...  The Market Totes are $45.

iPad Cover/Case

My new favorite.... an iPad case!  So my husband buys an iPad "for me" and although I've probably used it the least among the 6 people in this house (including my 3 year old), I couldn't WAIT to make a case for it!  Total sewing geek...  Zipper at top, lined and padded - so cute.  Can be made in ANY fabric combinations.    iPad cases are $30.

Oil Cloth Zipper Bags

A friend asked if I could make an oil cloth bag with a zipper...  so I did!  These are great for cosmetics, sunscreen or anything that could possibly get wet.  Just wipe clean.  I also included an optional handle on this one and it has a small interior pocket.  (Zipper size is 14 inches long.) The oil cloth zipper bags are $25.

Life wins over sewing. Been a little busy....

The JDRF Walk is done for 2011 - and now I'm back to reality, life and sewing!  We had such a wonderful day thanks to all the support of family and friends.  The kids had a blast...  I love this picture of Colleen and her hot cocoa.

Check out these Blues...

I love this fabric combination - a gorgeous Amy Butler line.  I have had a lot of fun this summer making fun products for friends out of these colors... the blues!  A beautiful sling bag and a variation on a 4th of July tunic - that can be worn throughout the summer.  Had to share!  Sling bags are $45.  Tunics are $30.

4th of July Dresses/Tops!

My daughters patiently waited for me to make their 4th of July dresses/tunic tops - and I finished just in time!  My son Sean is still waiting for his football pillow - I'll get to it someday :)  I'm very lucky to have such gorgeous models!  Not too late to make a summer tunic for your little one!  Dresses and tops are $30.

Oil Cloth Placemats!

One of my new favorite things (do I sound like Oprah???)...  Oil Cloth Placemats!  These are reversible - print on one side/gingham on the other (with coordinated stripe).  Oil cloth is vinyl - so these can be wiped clean or rinsed off.  Perfect for summer entertaining!  Can be made in variety of prints and colors. Placemats are $7 each (or 6 for $40).    (Pictures include some of my favorite Willow House products!)

Fabric is Art...

Just made a pillowcase dress out of this fabric for a friend's daughter...  Check out the pattern!  It's artwork...  I just love it!

Black Damask Vinyl/Oil Cloth Bag

A friend requested that I make an oil cloth bag in a black patterned fabric...  and here it is!  Black damask vinyl on exterior/polka-dot oil cloth interior.  It turned out very cute - and a more sophisticated alternative for a Farmers Market tote.  Vinyl-covered fabric bags are $40.  Oil cloth bags are $35.

Storage/Display Solutions for Crafters & Sewers!

I had to post this!  I love my Willow House products for managing craft and sewing supplies.  As you can see - I have goodies on display in the Zoe Organizing Buckets and I use my French Wire Plant Holders for scissors, notions and scraps.  The products are so versatile.  If anyone is looking for a creative and beautiful way to store not-always-so-beautiful things, Willow House has the answer!  Check out my website at carriegraham.willowhouse.com.

Baby Blanket (Flannel/Minky Fabrics)

I just love the two-sided blankets.  This one has flannel birdie fabric on one side and soft mint minky fabric on the other.  (Minky fabric is like a chenille.)  Great new baby gift!  The flannel/minky blankets are $25.

New Vinyl-Covered Bags!

I just finished two of these cute vinyl-covered bags - whimsical print on exterior and polka dot interior.  Vinyl-covered fabric is similar to an oil cloth, so it's waterproof and can wiped clean.  Perfect for a pool or beach tote!  Vinyl-covered fabric bags are $40.  Oil cloth bags are $35.

A Trio of Sling Bags (New Extended Strap Option!)

I just finished these 3 Sling Bags for a friend's daughters.  Upon request, I extended the strap so that the girls can wear them crossing in front - on their bikes this summer or going to dance class.  The bags have several interior pockets.   For the extended strap, I added some of the fabric from the front exterior... so cute!  Sling Bags are $45, with extended strap $50.
